In almost every picture is a series of photo books by Dutch photographer Erik Kessels.
Inside them, the lives of entire families or people are reconstructed and told in a literal way only thanks to the sequence of images.
The particularity? The books are made entirely with vintage photos, amateur albums which, however, report sequences within them.
Erik Kessels is one of the masters of vernacular photography, whose co-author in this issue is the Italian photographer Sergio Smerieri.

But why a book on Frab's and why exactly this? The answer is simple and it is because Carlo and Luciana, the protagonists of the 17th book of the series In almost every picture, we had "known" them a couple of years before the publication of this volume, precisely in Vignola (MO), where the photographer Sergio Smerieri had invited us into his studio and where we had exchanged some vintage photos, including those of the two spouses portrayed.
Finding them after two years in this book, which is truly incredible, was a wonderful surprise for us.
