After seven years, Acne Paper, the magazine of Acne Studios, returns to fill the shelves with editorial marvel.
Edited from the outset by Thomas Persson, Acne Paper is not just a fashion magazine, it focuses on culture in the broadest sense, with a careful look at how the past informs the present. Each issue is dedicated to a specific timeless theme, explored through photography, art, literature and journalism. Among the pages of this magazine, high-level artists, journalists and fashion designers from several generations have published and are publishing their works.
ISSUE 16 - Age of Aquarius
Acne Paper bursts back onto the niche magazine scene with what looks like a perfect hybrid between a magazine and an artist's book, with its 500 pages full of illustrations, photographs and text and a cover that becomes a poster.
The theme of this edition is dedicated to the passage, after 2000 years, to a new astrological era, that of Aquarius.
From Indonesia to Bangladesh, from Colombia to China, from India to Mexico, from the States to Europe, from the deep blue of the abyss to that of infinite space, from our ancestors to the thinkers of tomorrow, let's find out what this era holds in the field of artistic disciplines.
The ritual on the editorial scene of Acne Paper magazine was preceded in June 2021 by the launch of Acne Paper Book, the book that celebrates the story of one of the most beautiful magazines ever.
