ISSUE 3 - Movement & Migration
Number 3 explores the theme of migration and is divided into four chapters: Arrivals and departures, Social ladders, Solidarity community, Land and sea.
Mohamed Borouissa's work addresses complex socio-economic issues and also questions collective histories that touch upon French colonialism, migration, visibility and under-representation of minorities.
After some restrictions due to Brexit and the pandemic, we finally arrived on the southern coast of Marseille to meet Mohamed. We spent a day with eight brilliant guys (Stéphane Gaboué's street cast) creating a fashion story in collaboration with Riccardo Tisci's Burberry.
