Nork is a magazine of art, culture and creativity animated and produced in Northern Norway, a Tromsø. It is a window on the world of excitement that animates this little piece of Scandinavia that we imagine wrapped in a breathtaking nature and with not exactly pleasant temperatures.
In this biannual magazine, emerging Norwegian artists and contributors launch new works and present photography, writing and contemporary art projects that convey the essence of a piece of humanity that emanates an artistic warmth that is sometimes different to what we are used to.
The direction of the magazine is entrusted to skilled illustrators and graphic editors who perfect it with a high ability to hold together in a single splendid setting all the varied projects present inside.
Dimensions: 21.5x27.5 cm
The sixth issue of Nork, selected for our February Secret mag Club, is a keepsake-style magazine, with interactive pages that you can fill out on your own or give to your friends (or maybe your mum or cute neighbor) . The issue is also packed with energetic and original lyrics, as well as stunning artwork and illustrations.
The idea of creating an issue dedicated to the theme of "memory" is based on the memory books that many of us had as children and which now serve as fascinating time capsules. Don't you know what we're talking about? Well here's a quick explanation: A memory book is a prepackaged book with questions your friends and crushes have filled out in the school hallway during school lunch breaks or a blank notebook that kids fill with glitter and theirs. special questions. Or again ... the Smemoranda at the time of high school (we at Frab's added this).
We hope this new issue of NORK brings parts of that adorable childhood film back to life.
