PAPERBOY is a new independent magazine that provides only good news, founded in 2021 by theart director David McKendrick (co-founder studio BAM). Fun, carefree and most importantly, useful, it comes in a convenient format, with a soft canvas cover, which you can roll up and put in your pocket. It was designed to be read and used and the general idea is to lighten the reader's day.
The magazine starts from the premise that creativity is a powerful tool that has the potential to produce a positive chain reaction, offering an alternative point of view on current events.
The pages of the magazine include contributions from renowned writers, photographers and artists, as well as high school students and undergraduates.
The third issue of Paperboy is dedicated to the future. Dedicated to delivering good news, Paperboy naturally looks to the future with optimism and positivity. Whatever the opposite of doom-scrolling is, that's what we are. So while there is really a lot in the world right now to feel gloomy about, and only a fool would deny it, we get to see something good too.
Visionary artists and writers recruited for this issue offer multiple representations of what is yet to happen. They also bring surprising perspectives on the present. We hope you find their predictions progressive, in the best sense of the word.
