Rouge Fashion Book is the first biennial Chinese independent fashion and art magazine.
The magazine gives space to young artists from China along with the works of international artists and stylists to create a truly global fashion and art community in China.
Among the pages of this magazine there are fashion photo shoots, in-depth interviews with designers and influencers of the art world and fashion. The goal of Rouge Fashion Book is to provide a platform on which new generations of creatives from China and Asia can showcase their work and create trendy work with the help of more established international artists.
The most interesting aspect of this magazine is its chameleon-like dynamism: Rouge Fashion Book changes from number to number, not only from the point of view of contents, but also in format, layout and headings to become a real collector's item.
ISSUE 8 - MYTHOLOGY
Rouge Fashion Book is always able to surprise us, but probably with the eighth edition the editors of this luxurious magazine have outdone themselves.
The Mythology Issue welcomes the reader with a black leather cover embossed with the gothic letterhead and, on the back, the stars of a mythology that can take different forms. A photo attached with a paper clip completes an already perfect cover.
Going into the issue, we let ourselves be overwhelmed by wonderful photographic editorials introduced by very short texts that recall myths, stereotypes, false beliefs and deadly sins. At the end we find a compilation of very short poems, some in English, others in Chinese (don't worry, you just need the camera of your smartphone and google translete to reveal their meaning).
