Italian and international of the time.
Skema magazine is, according to the publishers themselves, an invitation to free thought in very turbulent years on the social and political front. The images had to be the vehicle through which to tell the company and the element with which the reader had the freedom to form his own idea. of a specific event or theme.
Quoting the opening editorial of the first issue: "ideas will be directly and freely provided by images: a medium that suffers less from alterations", moreover the choice of major events from Italy and the world takes place "with a criterion of predominance: with the images we will give the account of the facts that most deeply dug a furrow, or a wound, on the crust of common beliefs ". On the reasons for Skema's publication: "More than a message of culture, very often cold and sterile, ours is an intention of loyal training, without prejudices and spells, free and, as far as possible, intelligent.
Among the numerous period magazines still in circulation today, Skema has a very strong connotation of social commitment which, combined with research and professional photographic care (among the collaborations numerous press agencies such as Ansa) makes it a story by frames of a well-defined historical period.
