Slanted is a semi-annual independent magazine that deals with design, graphics and typography, exploring news and developments at an international level.
This award-winning magazine was not born on paper, but took its first steps on the web, with a blog founded in 2004 by Lars Harmsen and Julia Kahl. Its pages, with in-depth interventions, illustrations and photos around a different theme for each issue, invite you to reflect and open a debate not only on the proposed theme, but on the graphics in general.

ISSUE 39 - STOCKHOLM
If you only think of IKEA, Greta, Abba, Sylvia and Björn Borg or red wooden horses when you think of Sweden, you are far from what this country really is. In the summer of 2021, the Slanted team traveled to Stockholm to get a closer look at the contemporary design scene.
Slanted meets internationally acclaimed legends, including Stockholm Design Lab graphic designer Björn Kusoffsky, David Eriksson, founder of teen engineering, Magnus Gustafsson, founder of Paul & Friends, and award-winning architect Andreas Martin-Löf and graphics Maja Kölqvist.
In its 39th issue, Slanted collects a selection of Stockholm's brightest minds and provides insights into their work and values in numerous video interviews, which will be available online for free. Illustrations, interviews, essays and a large appendix with many useful tips and an overview of the best Swedish writings complete the issue thematically.
