Uppercase comes from Canada ed is a quarterly magazine of crafts, fashion, illustration and design published by Janine Vangool.
Characterized by always illustrated and colorful covers, which deliberately exclude the presence of human figures to be as inclusive as possible, among its equally colorful pages you will find many creative ideas, from DIY activities, to reading tips, from illustrations to stories of artists and creatives from all over the world, to give you intense moments of inspiration.
Endurance is the ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental exertion.
This is the secret of creative success. You keep doing the thing.
Over and over. Again and again. The process is iterative; it is a slow evolution of learning, adaptation, regression and progress.
Sometimes you feel like procrastinating. Sometimes it is joyful satisfaction. From time to time, there will be turning points where you take a leap forward or go on an exciting and energizing kickback. But always: try, do, keep the effort.
Being creative requires stamina. Editing, editing, designing, and publishing a quarterly printed publication requires stamina. Making your art requires stamina. Making a quilt takes stamina. Showing yourself and your dreams requires stamina.
And so, a note for me as well as for you: go ahead!
