The Simple Things is the magazine of three advertisers from Croydon in south London who, tired of working for a large agency that had the sole purpose of creating magazines that had to "sell something", decided to set up their own business by founding their own advertising agency and giving life to The Simple Things.
In this monthly magazine they have enclosed all their love for little things, celebrating the slow life and the joy of enjoying every space we are lucky enough to live. They tell about their simplest and most intimate passions: dinners based on good food with friends and relatives, local markets, their gardens, love for vintage objects and furniture.
Inside each issue a lot of tips and ideas to recycle, cook, relax, create handmade objects of any kind.

ISSUE 109 - SPLASH
In this number: Cool streams for hot days. The freedom of a motorhome. Rekindling friendships and why we love a female band. Flowers to wear, eat and enjoy. Syrian dishes to share. Ripe berries and seaside stays. Polish mobile phones. Life Lessons from Alice in Wonderland. Summer sushi. Lunar jellyfish.
Summer always comes with high expectations: as children we looked forward to the long school holidays, all the picnics and outdoor games. Then, as adults, we strive to spend our time in the best possible way, for a successful holiday and to transform our gardens into pleasure to live. This year the bar has been raised further as we try to make up for the "lost" time. But what's really special about summer isn't filling it with things to do and travel, but the ability to break away from the routine. Summer is also the best time to simply reflect on a deck chair, those dreams and projects will be ready to come true when the time comes. Is waiting always more fun than waiting?
