Dek magazine is a new independent English magazine that deals with discovering the truest and most authentic stories behind the great characters of art.
What's the story behind the story? The art behind the artist? The creativity behind the creation? This is what DEK sets out to discover, scratching the surface of music, films and any other medium imaginable. Their mission? Let us discover something new and authentic about the people and the process behind the things we love, taking us along new paths that we didn't think existed.
The main story of this first issue is entirely dedicated to the famous David Bowie. In fact, over 30 pages tell one of his main photo shoots: The Corsham Street Sessions. While performing it, the art director took some personal photographs with a disposable camera, which he never published and presented for the first time in this magazine.
In addition to this project, we find the actor's stories in number 1 of Dek Alex Winter (Bill & Ted, The Lost Boys), The musician and producer Fink, the director Issa López (Tigers Are Not Afraid), Musician and composer Colin Stetson (Color Out Of Space) And artist Samantha Keely Smith.
