Manaròt is a new Italian literary magazine that brings together authors linked to the geographical area of Trentino, Alto Adige and its branches.
The Adige is a symbol of cultural contamination, a link between the Latin and Germanic world, the watershed between the Adriatic and the Black Sea, Europe and the Middle East. We immediately understand the purpose of this magazine, which wants to bring to light influences between different worlds and languages, Italian and European.
ISSUE 1 NACHLASS
In the first issue you find land words of the two founders of the magazine, Davide Gritti and Nicolò Tabarelli, by Flavio Pintarelli, Daria De Pascale, Maddalena Fingerle, Riccardo Micheloni and Alessandro Monaci. Seven authors all born between 1983 and 1995: two were born in Alto Adige; one in Trentino; four lived in Trento; one lives in South Tyrol; two in Trentino; one in Germany.
Not only text, in this first issue in addition to the stories we find a collection of photographic plates from 1921, from the Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino, which represents the first visit of the Italian sovereigns to Tyrol, reworked by the artist Michael Zemel with techniques of creative coding.
