Not very common in Italy, but all the rage in the States, an open house (literally "open house") is a real estate marketing technique in which those who want to sell or rent a property decide to let as many potential buyers visit the house in a single appointment, as if it were a party or a group visit to the museum.
Magazine Openhousestrengthened by this tradition, the doors of the houses of artists and creatives from all over the world are inserted and opened wide to readers, to tell about design and architecture starting from those who live it every day.
Number of pages: 184
Language: mainly English, but the services are not translated from the original language so, for example, an article about a house in Italy will be written in Italian.
Issue No. 14:
Respite, Connect and Escape
In this issue we find respite in the slow connections made by the hands of artists and craftsmen. We share a weekend with the master gardener Luciano Giubbilei at Potter's House in Mallorca, experience the inspired frugality of Enric Mestre's workshop in Valencia and flee to the Basque Country to admire the sculptures of Eduardo Chillida. We stop in Mexico City to visit the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo Casa Estudio Museum, and return home dreaming of new ways of life practiced by Bijoy Jain at Studio Mumbai.
