Pipette magazine is the independent magazine entirely dedicated to natural wines. A world that fascinates Rachel Signer, the mind behind this project apparently reserved for a narrow niche, but which has aroused considerable interest in the world of independent magazines since 2018.
A little for its ability to be very "raw" and concrete, a little for the ability to go into the details and stories of an authentic world, however marginalized by the large numbers of wine, Pipette is a serious way to stay updated on the world of natural wines.
INTERVIEWS AND ESSAYS
An interview with the first (and only!) Natural winemaker in Finland; an essay by Brooklyn wine professional Alex Alan on what post-2020 New York dining might be like; a long interview with Lauren Friel of Rebel Rebel (Boston) on why natural wine is so decidedly political; an article in a magazine dealer in Stockholm assuring us that print is not dead; the story behind the iconic "Vine Wine Sign"; a look at the marketing of Canada's hottest natural winery; a report on Joy Kull aka La Villana (Lazio, Italy); a photographic reportage by Twin Island Cider (British Columbia) which documents the process of collecting clay and manufacturing ships.
