Seisma is an independent science magazine. Its particular purpose is to investigate the world scarts, or the interconnections that exist between science and art. It does so from a very technical point of view similar to that of scientific popularization, bringing together in its editorial staff mainly professionals from various sciences who study a particular aspect of scarts.
ISSUE 1 - Neuroscience and creativity
The first issue of Seisma magazine studies how the brain of creatives works. inside we find scientific articles, interviews, technical documentation and artistic projects aimed at investigating how the human mind carries out the creative process.
Functional neuroimagining technologies have now become much more accessible than they once were, and together with new psychological techniques they allow scientists and artists to collaborate like never before. In this issue we find articles on the development of brain-computer interfaces that generate brainwave art, on the optimization of the design of buildings and public spaces based on neuroesthetics, to other examples of infinite possibilities of collaboration between science and creative processes.
